My short story "The Dragon Chamber" is available from Bewildering Stories.  There's a link below, but here's my synopsis:

Matthew Black is a lethal man; the only person he’s ever cared about is his sister Molly, so when the young schoolteacher vanishes from her missionary school in China, Matthew embarks on a bloody mission to find her. When his quest leads him into a barfight the outnumbered Matthew finds an unexpected ally in a young man whose girlfriend has been kidnaped by the Yin-Yang Twins, the same duo responsible for Molly’s abduction.  Together, Matthew and his new friend must infiltrate the lair of the Yin-Yang Twins: the perilous Jade Dragon.

"Murder on Scorpion Island" is scheduled for publication in the next issue of A Thousand Faces magazine.  "You Can't Fool Me" is scheduled for publication in a future journal.  Here's a rundown of these two superhuman stories.

Scorpion Island.  A fortress of terror where one of the greatest villains ever known once terrorized the free world is now a retirement community for super villains.  On this slice of paradise Raphael “Frequency” Cardenas has hung up his mask and boots and settled into a retirement as well as a former super-thief can, but when Max “Blackfire” Nickerson is discovered dead one morning, Raphael is suspicious.  Did someone want to settle an old score?  Could Scorpion Island’s location finally have been discovered by the outside world, or is something much worse at play here?  With his powers not what they used to be, Raphael will need to dig deeper than he’s ever done before and use everything at his disposal to get to the bottom of this.

“You Can’t Fool Me”–The Guardian is one of the most powerful beings on the planet.  Defender of humanity for over sixty years, his powers have always been on the side of justice and honor.  When a signal from a deep-space ally warns of something called “Mastermind” headed for Earth, the Guardian embarks on a mission that will change everything he knows.  When he fights Mastermind he becomes locked in a near-deadly stalemate, and the rest of Earth’s heroes try to contain the problem while he recovers.  After a short recuperation, the Guardian decides to re-engage Mastermind and stop him once and for all.  Initially the Guardian appears to be the victor, but soon he begins to doubt Mastermind’s destruction.  As evidence begins to emerge that Mastermind may be harder to stop than initially suspected, the Guardian will be forced to confront some difficult situations, make some harsh choices about when a hero can really claim victory.

Also upcoming:

"All in the Game" and "Fireblood" are both scheduled for publication in L & L Dreamspell's new erotic thriller anthology. Your Darkest Dreamspell.

  Here’s a rundown:

“All In The Game”–Halloween.  A time for mischief and a time to be someone you’re not.  Stephanie Donovan and Jamie Jones have gone trick-or-treating together since they were little.  At eighteen they’re now too old to collect candy, but dressed in some slinky costumes there’s nothing stopping them from collecting for charity and having fun in the process.  When the two girls decide to pay their history teacher a visit, they figure they’ll get a nice donation and maybe see the handsome young teacher squirm a little when they show up on his doorstep dressed like they are.  Instead, they find themselves trapped in a living nightmare.  Their only hope for rescue lies in the hands of a classmate up to his own Halloween fun across the town.

“Fireblood”–Morgan Fox was baby-sitting Todd Freeman to make some extra money to help pay for college. Todd’s a great kid to baby-sit.  He’s polite, funny, and listens to Morgan. Everything’s great until Todd begins playing with Fireblood, a transforming action figure. At first, Morgan only sees small changes in Todd, but soon he can’t go anywhere without it. What’s worse, Morgan soon begins noticing health problems with Todd right around the same time she starts having dreams about Fireblood and his romantic overtures towards her. As she struggles to understand what’s so special about this toy, Morgan must decide if the only way to save the child entrusted to her care will be to give in to Fireblood’s romantic overtures . . . and if she really wants to resist.
